We’re building a global platform for instant, low-cost payments starting with the EU-Africa corridor, where businesses waste days and lose significant percentages on every transaction. Zuba is launching multiple products, expanding to new corridors within a year, and building the rails that global trade should run on.

Sending and receiving money from abroad to Africa is too slow, expensive, and opaque for modern needs

• Today’s system forces even mid-sized transactions to flow through a chain of correspondent banks and clearinghouses designed decades ago for very large corporations.
• Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) suffer disproportionately because they lack the clout to get priority service or better FX rates from banks.
• The impact is not just in convenience but unlocking capital stuck in transit, enabling trade partnerships that currently fail due to payment friction, and levelling the playing field for African SMEs and their overseas partners.

A cross-border payment platform that moves money in real-time at low cost, leveraging stablecoin technology under the hood

• The front-end product is a simple but powerful online dashboard (and API for those who need) where a European business user can seamlessly send money and reconcile payments to African recipients.
• Instead of relying on SWIFT, Zuba converts the sender’s funds into a USD Stablecoin and transmits it over blockchain rails to Africa, where it’s converted to local currency for pay-out – all in a matter of minutes. </aside>
